Default Warrior Just clicks when i push button..

Ok, i took of my starter, it does work fine, i forgot to ground it out when i tested it the first time...idiot me... And my battery spun it fine, and the battery also lights the headlights as normal, and my battery charger says my voltage on it is around 12-13...i filled my fluids in the battery also. So basically, what im thinking, is its in my wiring between the battery and the starter, maybe even between the solonoid and the starter. Im going to have to get a wire tester to see which wires not getting any voltage though it.
One quick question, my friend's warrior doesnt start either when he pushes the start button, but when you put a wrench to the top of the solonoid, it turns right over, is his problem related to mine, even though my solonoid wont turn my starter over? His doesnt even make the 'click' noise while its on his machine. When we tested his solonoid on my machine, the solonoid atleast clicked.

We had the same prob on my wifes warrior,it was the solenoid, the cost around 35 dollars from yamaha i believe, give or take a few bucks. How i tested mine, i had everything hooked up normally. i held the button and took a screwdriver and connected the two posts on the solenoid and the starter started cranking away.just make sure your battery is good too, good luck
