Default hard to shift!!!

DOES any one have the thor ATV boots and find it hard to shift and menuver with them?? these are my first pair of boots and don't know if it is just the boots or is it hard to shift with all motocross boots? i think it is because they have a boot like tread on the bottom instead of the smooth bottems of the other motocross boots?

I kinda feel the same way about the boots.....I just figured I need to get used to them or break them in. I was riding one day and a guy was telling me that if I did not buy any gear, the one thing I needed was boots. He said they could save you a broken ankle or leg. he also sold me on the chest protector. he said his son's saved his life. Needless to say after hearing their horror story, my wife got me one for Christmas.

i think most atv boots are hard to feel through. you kinda just have to get used to "the feel." i usualy ride in tennis shoes. you may want to try adjusting your shifter up a little so you have a little more room for your boots.

Boots have saved my feet quad a bit... and i float a bit better in the sand cause of them.... But heres my trick... i don't use my toe piece to shift i use the edge of my foot (near the 1st toe joint) and i don't have a problem

Like others have said, you need to get use to them and adjust the shifter if needed.
