idles funny

Default idles funny

my warrior after i been riding for a while seems to want to idle faster then i think it should anything like this ever happen to you guys? i have had carb trouble in the past.

yep and my dad keeps telling me theres nothing wrong so eventually when it completely wont run and we take it in...ill let u know what was going on, IMO the carb is full of crap as what i thought and people on here have told me too

no the carb on my bike is clean and clear[i hope] because i just took all that stuff apart a few month ago,and no the choke is off..the idle screw has no effect on it.it's not a real high rpm just alot more then the normal idle when cold.

I have a 05 raptor 350 mine when it hasnt been rode in a day ideals to low and cuts off till bout 2 hours of rideing then it seems to speed up normal i find myself adjusting on it so ur not alone on that prob.

If the idle speed adjuster has no effect, either the slide is being held open, or you have a vacumn leak.

Make sure cable has not been adjusted up at the bars. If all the play is taken out of the cable then the screw on the carb will have no effect because there is no slack left in cable. Be sure to set your idle when unit is warmed up.
