Im getting ready to put a hotcam in my 2002 warrior, the cam didnt come with much instruction, and i was wondering what gaskets, or if any at all that i will be needing. Also will i need any special tools, or will any of the bearings need to be pressed on to the cam. Thanks in advance for all the help guys.

Default Hot Cam Help.....

Top end gasket, chain tensioner (some bikes) and thats usually it. I've never had a cam install that required any bearing changes or movements.

Default Hot Cam Help.....

You will need a new cam bearing that mounts to front of cam.. Trying to take off the old is very difficult without ruining the bearing.
Place cam in frezzer for 1 hour and place bearing in oven at 250 degrees for 15 minutes.
Apply very light oil like WD-40 and with a driver, over the inner race only, tap on. Socket works well.
Once on alittle, then you can drive it harder.
Motor on top dead center.
Rocker arms totally loosed.
Pull out old and put in new.(Apply assembly lube to cam lobes and motor oil on end and inside new bearing)
I think the specs are .005" intake and .006" exhaust.
