First of all....my snowmobile has less power than my Warrior! Maybe becuz its an old '79 Yamaha Enticer 250cc 2 stroke! And I hate the cintrifigul (spelling?) clutch on it, and the belt. I would love the 6 speed manual of my Warrior! I think it would be a nice thing to have, if you have 2 grand! If you can afford a nice, newer snowmobile, then sure, that would be good too, but I cant!

Ok, for all you people that think the sno-traxx conversion will make your quad as good as a snowmobile, you are nuts! Snowmobiles are designed only for snow and will out-handle and out-perform any quad. If you want to take your sno-traxx conversion quad and race my snowmobile, just let me know.

Fixxer,
Did you see it in run in the snow? One of these kits would be trick, but I'd have to be sure that it actually ran and lets the Banshee run like a Banshee, even in the snow... What is the weight of the kit if anybody knows?

Somewhere it said that it actually makes your quad 80 pounds lighter.

No tire weight. Eighty pounds seems like too big a difference though.

I haven’t seen one of these in action but I do agree it makes for one tricked out quad. There is absolutely no way it would make it 80 pounds lighter. Sure you have no tire weight but then you add the track assemblies and ski assemblies. They do say however that the new design is 40 pounds lighter than the old one. They also make them for a lot more than just the Banshee. If I lived in snow country I would definitely consider getting them.
