1st get some tires stock ones roll way 2 much i have the 26 holeshot atr on my 05 grizz there perfect 4 me they get pretty good traction in all terrains and they dont ware you out like mud tires 2nd get awinch (ever try pulling a 600 pound 4 wheeler buried 2 its axels out of a mud hole) dont work to good with out 1

 

My thought is to use the stock wheel and buy new tires for my Kodiak. Kodiak will be used around the farm and when time allows joyriding thru National Forest in the area. I have just retired and have purchased two Kodiak 450's for the wife and I so a smooth and SAFE ride is very important to both of us. Any suggestion on the wheels for this type of usage would be appreciated.

 

I can reccommend the Dirtdevil tires.

My dad and I both run them and we have been very happy with them. They are cheap and hold up very well with great all around traction.

I recently bought an 04 Honda 400EX. It didn't take but two rides in the AZ desert to order a heavey duty skid plate to protect the swing arm, rotor and chain. Even though our new Grizzly has much more clearance, I plan on going in rugged terrain. I just ordered the full [8 piece] set of Ricochet Aluminum.
