How often do you grease a Grizzley?
#14
Ragnar: Should be able to. Just spin the driveshaft until you see that you can access them with the end of the grease gun. You will probably have to move it twice to get both fittings. When I had the one lined up the other one was a little off. Just gave the shaft a little more spin until that one lined up. At least it was like this on my Kodiak.
Sedwick: Sounds good. Thanks for the help.

Can anyone tell me exactly what size grease fittings are needed for the IRS on a 2005 Kodiak? Mine are straight up and impossible to grease. I am wanting to install fittings with a 45 degree angle. Thanks Stockwellbell

I believe they are 6MM. I just got some and am going to try them this weekend. I tried an SAE grease fitting on the one side in the back, and I had to force it in so now its going to stay. I probably messed the threads up. Someone else might help out here because some have already done this.

The fittings I used were 6mm X 16.5 . I just got them and they went right in. Although it was tight in there u just have to keep slowlyworking them in. PGRSV, Greenville is located between Pittsburgh and Erie, in NorthWest PA. Not far from Meadville or Sharon Pa, if u know where any of those are. Where is Pine Grove located? Ragner last night I took off my front right tire and there is a cover that covers the drive shaft and your foot rear brake mechnism. I took out the one bolt and the cover came right off and I had access to the front zerk on the front drive shaft. The rear zerk of the front drive shaft might take more work. Hope they don't need greased right away because there doesn't appear to be any half easy way to greese them.
