Default Wheely Problems on Warrior*HELP*

I have an 01 warrior and recently i have been standing it up when i pop wheelies. I was just wondering why gas leaks out of the hose from the carb when i do stand it up(the hose looks as if it is a drain for just that) Has anyone else noticed this and what have they done to stop it. If you put a nipple on it to stop it will it harm any thing??

That is the overflow for the carb, it allows excess gas to drain out instead of flooding your motor, when you wheelie it real high, you tilt the carb and allow gas to run out the port, short of doing shallow wheelies, there is no way to stop it. If gas prices mean that much to you, stop doing it !!!!!

Well, on a friends 250ex, when we did real slow wheelies strait up and down( not on the grab bar yet) but we would just go like walkin speed wheelies, and gas would pour out, like its doing with yours. What we did was put a knot in the overflow fuel line to stop it from coming out. Im not sure if thats maybe the best thing to do, but it didnt effect his quad at all, and stopped the gas pouring out.

It's not bad for it to leak gas.. maybe bad for your wallet though.. It's only a little bit... Plugging it probably isnt the best idea because the overflow is there for a reason.. so the gas doesnt overflow.. to put it simply.. With the plug or the knot.. if you flip over backwards for too long it will overflow.. it probably isnt effecting your friends 250 because you only hold it up for a second or so.. but if you flipped over backwards.. or put it in a truck pointing up and forgot to turn off the gas... it would deff. flood the motor and you wouldnt be reminded to turn off the gas because you wouldnt see gas pouring out.. so idk.. i wouldnt do it but its up to you

The wheelies with the 250 were for the entire length of a field, probably strait up and down for about 1 minute or so. And still no problems noticed.
