Default 94 yammy timberwolf needs some help

well im new here but not to the sport. I just got a "couple" of yamaha timberwolfs. the 94 is complete except the rear end is completely blown out. The other one is almost all there but im sellin parts. well heres the question. The 94 runs but its a b*$@h to start. i mean it throws a fit. its sit there and turn over fine and ill spray it down with starting fluid and right when i pump the gas POP! flames out the carb. when it run it run ok accept it pops at low rpm's im thinkin its timing but i dont know how to adjust it. if anyone has any idea it would really help.. thanks

ok i have been a mechanic for about 10 years and i would say 1 of three things most likely ether timing like you though compresion or valves need to be adjust bad!! but most likely timing on that fourwheeler the timing chain is probaly stretched get a service manual from deal or ebay or somewhere and thatshould help with all 3. Well good luck and hop it is only something minor. oh yea almost forgoton my beartracker where carb goes into engine there is rubber gasket like hose thingy and that thingcomesloos on carb casuing it to hardly start and run bad i would definetly check that and that is just easy to fix it could be on aibox or motor end just take a look

p.s. sorry about long reply hope you the best of luck
