K well im a motocrosser for life, and for all those ppl that say, "i dont need no stinkin' ankle support!", i say i hope you enjoy hobbling around on crutches for a couple months while you miss work because you didn't think you needed all that "extra" support. I have Alpinstar tech 6's, and man that was the best $400 i ever spent on gear. Even with the boots i still managed to bruise the arches of my feet, but that was because i just plain over jumped a double lol

You are looking at spending $40.00 or so bucks anyway for a pair of boots, why not just spring for some cheap Thor boots or something. There are several manufacturers that have models in the sub $100.00 range. All that money wrapped up in quads and trucks, but you can't spring for boots? That is redneck bro!
