I have a puller, but the flywheel refuses to come off? I snapped the bolt on the puller when trying to get the flywheel off? Why would it be seized to the crank? Is there a last resort? All I want to do is replace the starter clutch so I can have electric start again, its tearing my hands off when the recoil jams on the compression stroke, please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I take the flywheel puller and load it up with a good amount of pressure and I take my 3 pound hammer and hit the puller jack screw with a good solid hit. The shock pops the flywheel free. This will not work well with pullers with arms. Let us know how you make out.
