How did you squeeze another 12mph out of it? Did you do anything with the clutching?

 

Whoever says a Beartracker (250cc class quad) will do 50+ mph is on narcotics. The Beartracker tested as the slowest 250cc quad in it's class with the Recon, Ozark, and Bombardier spanking the heck out of it. Additionally, since the recon is only capable of running 44-45 mph with a 150lb person on it, there is no way the Beartracker will do 50+. Not even with moderate modifications. Most Beartrackers are only capable of slightly less than 40mph. Get a GPS, speedo, or pace for verification.
