Haulers or sandstars, I would say Gecko's but I had them on a 400ex and didn't like them
to much. It really depends on what you are wanting to do in the dunes. If you want to just
ride around and you don't go to the dunes that often I would say you could just get by the
stock tires or Mud Sharks is what I have on my Raptor660 and they work great in the sand,
mud and give me more ground clearance without having to buy new rims and sand tires. Also
you could get 8inch rims farly cheap if you get sand tires that are made for a 8inch rim. Hope this
helps somewhat. Ohh yeah haulers would be good if you just want to Drag race.

Well I just use stock tires. But people who are serious duners
Get sand front tires. But really if you are just a weekend warrior looking
just to have a good time like twice a year or so. I personally think it's a lot
of money to spend on sand tires. Cause like I said I had Gecko's and I really
was not to impressed with sand tires for what they cost. Unless you are planning
to drag race then that's a different story cause yes sand tires do help a lot.

I run Kenda Gecko tires on my Raptor and like them, they have gotten me up some pretty tall hills without spinning out too much, plus I got them cheaper then I could get any other paddle. I'm going to try them on my 250r this weekend in Brule Lake.
I just run my every day tires in sand and they work fine.

I run sand stars on my Raptor 660, but I used to have Sand Sharks and they worked great. I have them on my Raptor 350 now and they are great. They cost me about $115.00 with Douglas Wheels at www.rockymountainatv.com
