Blaster for daughter
The Blaster is your best choice for a few reasons.
1 Price, obvious
2 Weight. It's much lighter than a 250EX or Suzuki Z250. In the sand weight is everything. For safety, weight is extremely important. It can be made lighter yet with aftermarket pipe, aluminum bumper & handlebars etc. You can get it close to 300 pounds whereas the 4 strokers are stuck at 350-370 or so.
3 Easy to learn on, kid-like ergonomics, easy to keep the power down with the throttle limiter screw as she learns, and you can make a Blaster run like a big boy quad without spending much money at all as she gains experience and wants more power. A 4 stroke 250 can't be modded horse for horse compared to a Blaster without spending big bucks.
My son's Blaster climbs any hill at the St Anthony dunes see my picture page, and no 250EX on earth can claim that.
