Default YFZ Big problem

Ok I have a 2004 Yamaha YFZ-450 I havent rode it in almost a month so I decided to take it out for a spin around the front yard I ride for about twenty minutes and it back fires chokes then dies. Ive only had the bike for about four months an take very good care of it looks and used to run almost brand new. Ok I knew the gas was on and I plenty of fuel in it and Im not boging the engine and neither am I overeving the bike. So I was stuck out in the middle of this feild and I hit start switch and it doesnt even trie to turn over But the light right next to the nuetral light comes on think its water tempature light dont know for sure. I tried starting the bike two more times before it finally started i let the clutch out and gave some throttle shifted into second and then died the same way it did the first time. By this time I just wanted the bike back in poll barn. I tried to start it and to my suprise it turned over and I was able to get it back in the poll barn. I let the engine cool over night then the same thing happened this morning it dies just at random times when does theres usally a loud pop just as it dies. When I trie to start it sometimes I hear a low groaning noise. The thing that torques me off the most is its like new and now it doesnt run right. I have also heard that you can fowl out the spark on the YFZ-450 by not riding hard and fast all the time sorta like a Banshee. Any help on this problem would be appriciated greatly as soon as possible im sure its not big problem but all I know how to do is clean the air filter put gas in it check the oil and check the coleant leavle so Im not much of mechanic. Thank you for help I appricate it.

Try an new plug in it. My plug went and it didn't have many hours on it, it was just idling and quit.

or if its not the plug then it could be some kind of junk lodged in the carb somewhere. that happened to my raptor after it sat for one week.....i learned this a few weeks ago. so just spray some cleaner thru the carb.
