a perfectly tuned carb runs just as well, as EFI. Their is a reason why professional drag racers still run carbs. However EFI is far superior in its effectiveness. The new raptor is lighter by what a whole 3 lbs, whoopie, ill pee before i race ya. As far as a piped(high hp) K&N raptor beating a 700r i dont think so, but i do beleive it will come down to skill and it will give the 700r a run for its money, but wait until the exhaust come out for teh 700R and K&n and the EFI mapping, and say bye bye to the 660 in a race. However i do beelive if your head is ported and polished on the 660r it will walk away from the 700r but NOT BY MUCH. And the 700r is no competition for a professional built 686, you say a 700r might make 45hp, 686's run in the hp range anywhere from 55hp upwards of 75hp.

I agree, but what percentage of piped, airbox modded, jetted Raptors are running perfectly tuned? I know mine gets close, but not perfect. Then when the air density changes, (for the different seasons), there goes your tuning down the drain, time to make adjustments, if you know what I mean.

Raptor 660 hp 37 and if you would like that exhaust go to ct racing's web site As for the raptor 700 I can hardly wait to see one of these out on the trail, I don't feel like this is gonna be a runaway.
