I think the mags are just hyping the 700R vrs YFZ450 thing, I really don't care if it's better or worse than any other quad, I just know what I like and don't like on my 02 Rappy and they've made all the changes I had hoped for and more. So far as to what I've seen and experienced on the 700R, I'm impressed [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Actually you can get 49-50 hp out of a pipe and jet only.Ct sonic pipe and jet puts out 49 hp for the 660 and with a k&n filter i think it would get to around 54.If you would like to see the dyno chart on that pipe go to www.ctracing.com.

 

Again, that is from the manufacturers website. Show me some real world dynos from an actual user then I will believe it. If CT had a graph of 70hp would you believe it?

Speaking of pipes, how long before they are available for the 700R? I know GYTR has one out but, it's db level is high and I'm not sure about it's quality.

 

Ive read in online articles that Gyt-R has already made a pipe, jet kit, and filter. Should be releasted by fall i would think. Havent heard any news on any other brands such as fmf,pro,Ct,hmf............ect

 

well here's how it goes....i have a raptor 660 with a comp. pipe..jetted..k&n and the lid off....my dad has a raptor 700 with a pipe and efi...he also has it geared down one in the front and up 2 in the back...he also has me by about 125 lbs...and i have to say he beats me by about 2 1/2 lengths every time....so a piped jetted 660 will not take a 700
