Default *warrior starter problem?*

Ok my warrior hasn't been running for the last week, it wouldn't even try to turn over and if I crossed the sylenoid it wouldn't do anything eather. When I bought the bike the guy gave me an extra starter so I put that in it and now if I cross the sylenoid and listen carfully I can hear the starter try to turn over. Oh yea when I cross he sylenoid huge sparks start shooten out. bigger sparks than I ever seen shoot out of a syeloid so now I don't know whats wrong with it. Is it the starter? the sylenoid?

if you're shorting out the solenoid then that's not the problem, that bypasses the solenoid. You probably have a bad starter.

hey, if you have the pull start backup option, there is the decompression switch on the front of the motor, flip that and try to start it... it may be a really week starter, and I havent seen anyone post anything about a battery...??? just a thought... if the starter is trying to move the motor, by hitting that little switch it will have virtually no compression and should turn over much easier...
