No contest. The YZ80 could make it to the finish line (of any race you care to mention), then turn around and come back to the starting line, then turn around again and race to the finish line one more time, and still get there before the recon.

I still think the yz would beat the recon,no matter the year,unless the yz is junk.

 

Well if the '76 YZ80 has never had the air filter cleaned, never had the transmission (clutch) oil changed, never had the spark plug changed, and is still running the stock tires and tubes, you might have a chance. But if proper maintenance has been done on that YZ80, and it is in good running order, you are going to get smoked bad.

 

a pw 50 would dust a recon.....
