and we wonder why, time and time again, trail systems are being shut down and restricted. More laws are being passed across this county daily limiting our sport, and these actions will not help. the guys who say it is easy to run from the cops are the guys who complain about all the new legislation being passed. It's simple. If you wish to be able to ride ANYWHERE in you will obey the law, or the whole sport suffers

im not trying to tell everyone to run from the cops because its not good for the sport but its not us the riders screwing things up, its the old people that dont like noise and dust covering everything up and dont tell me im wrong because we got 3 tracks and one major trail system being shut down for dust and noise reasons.

Your not allowed to ride on the tracks? Wow that is pretty strict. I am of mixed opinion on this matter, on one hand I don't think you should run on the other hand if the penalties are this bad I am not sure I would take the chance that there is a nice cop in that cruiser. I ride on a chunk of pavement everytime I go out as my house is about 1/4 mile away from a vast trail system. I have had no problems with neighbors because I idle the whole 1/4 mile and try to show them that I am respectful. If I see a police officer one day on that strech I will stop but then again I know the worst they do up here is a 500$ fine. I also think that some people on here should remember that not everyone on here has a truck or a trailer and I would imagine quite a few don't even have a drivers licence. I think that there is worse things that a young guy could be doing, and if a young guy riding on train tracks is the biggest problem that the police are facing in ohio then I envy that state.
I also wonder how many of us are guilty of tuning in the garage and testing on the street?

i know where you guys are coming from but still i race and i have to get as much practice in when im not on the track and i aint about to lose my quad for next year so thats why i ran for one reason and that alls i had to do was cross the border between the city and the township and i would be fine so its not like i took them on a speed chase i just was cruising around in 3rd and seen him and i knew that i was pretty screwed if i got caught because there is no warnings so i just slammed the break held in the clutch downshifted into second dropped the clutch and i was gone and they were way behind and i knew i was gone because i knew i got across the border. i do the same running the throttle about the 1/4 of the way in to show my neighbors and the house by the tracks respect so they dont call the cops on me.
