Noisy YFZ AC nerfs w/ heelguard
I have a set of AC pro-peg nerfs w/ the healguards and that thin alum used for the base of the healguards is noisy! It tends to vibrate alot when reving the engine and is really starting to get on my nerves, is there any way to dampen it?
I was thinking maybe I could get some rubber and find a way to stick it in-between the alum base and the bar, anyone else got an idea? Or has anyone had this problem and fixed it? Any info is helpful, thanks!

Not quite sure if this helps but, my skidplate, even though tightened down, would vibrate against the frame, making a high pitch annoying sound with higher rpms. I put a 3/4" strip of rubber with adhesive (sticky back, along the lines of what you would put under a canopy for a truck) on the frame then mounted the skidplate, that was the end of the noise and the foam peice squishes down to almost nothing but still solved the vibration noise problem. Maybe something like that could work for you.

Awesome, thanks for the input Happa! Thats kinda what I was thinkin bout doin with my rubber idea...seems like this is the best idea yet. I don't think the rubber will stay as easily between the sheet metal and bar as it did with your frame and skid, there really isn't that much surface area to keep the rubber in place. Anyone else got any ideas?
