warrior smoking help!!

Default warrior smoking help!!

for some reason my dads warrior is putting out a white smoke. checked the oil and was low, filled it back up and let it idle for alittle bit and its still smoking alittle bit. does anyone know what is happening here?

Default warrior smoking help!!

Sounds like you either have worn rings, or the valve seals are leaking by pretty bad. To check rings, take a compression reading, then squirt a little oil in the cylinder and take another reading. If it is higher, the rings are worn ( the oil helps to temporarily seal the worn rings). If there is no change, more than likely you have valve stem issues, or the rings are so shot the oil can't help. Also, make sure the oil level is correct, overfilling will cause the motor to suck up the extra oil and burn it, then it tends to keep blowing out the oil until it gets low.
