I believe the wire you are talking about is for the safety switch that only allows the engine to start only if the clutch is pulled in. You should be able to by-pass it with no adverse effects, Just remember you can start it in gear without pulling in the clutch. HTH

It depends on which model you have. On the Banshee, the switch in the perch is a rev limiter for when the parking brake is on. If you have a Warrior with electic start, it kills the starter unless you have the clutch pulled in. Don't cut the wires, but unplug it on the harness. Just follow it from the handlebars to the connector and unplug.

I just did my friends Banshee and everything went fine except two things. One, not a big deal, I just took the electrical switch out and unplugged it behind the radiator then taped it up. Thats the way you do the switch, right? And two, I put a CR style clutch lever on, but I had to adjust it all the way out and still it has a little play in it. Is there a way to get rid of that play or will a different lever have to be bought. The bike is brand spanken new. Thanks for any responses.
