No the yfz rear shock won't work..The best bet like i said is to use a 400ex, 86-88 250R rear shock, KFX or LTZ..Check on ebay for a 400ex rear shock that would be your best bet..

I waS thinking of a 30mm carb so anyway what tires do you recommend? I like the holeshot XCR and H-D tires, on the site the seem to be the right choice for where I ride.

Tires is on you man..Just read the tires description to see if they fit your type of riding..I ride on alot of hard pack trails, so the turf tamers were my choice..I will tell you if you ride trails, as tempting as 18' tires are 20 inch tires will give you a little better clearance..

Hey man check out planetblaster.org There is ton's of information over there about the blaster along with the best blaster Do it yourself(DIY) section you will find..

Stay away from holeshots if your into hard terrain riding because they wear quick.

I really like the way the H-D's look and they seem like good trail tire for where I ride so I was planning to get some anyway!

I'll post some pictures for you to look at on the blaster I am finishing up for my GF...

Ok got a link to my photobucket site...

http://photobucket.com/albums/v325/w...kit52/Blaster/

The bike is almost done, little things to work out like best shocks to use. Has stock rear(not gonna be there long) and LT 250R front which work better with the plus size A -arms than the stock or banshe shocks that I tested out. For the carb I trimmed the rubber back and used a few items from an auto parts store due to oversized carb. It has been worked over a bit and will get more once she gets to the point that she HAS to have more power. As it is it will run close to a stock 250R. It has +4 swingarm, banshee carrier and axle as well as front banshee disks and brakes all the way around. It has Maier silver race plastic and aftermarket headlights. Also a large number of other items not stock or aftermarket.
