finally got my upgrades in exhaust, intake, and jets.. i installed every thing my jets are 175 main and 45 pilot needle in 4th position fuel mixture screw 2 1/2 turnes from closed.. i got that from sparkes.. the maker.. know here the thing i was riding to my friends house just up the street.. got there ok but when i was cumming back almost when i got to my house the bike started to bog or missfire i grabed the clutch and it died.. i when to turn it. and the starter just turns but does not start then.. heres the thing... i grabed the throtal and right before w.o.t.... bike still off... i felt a click in the lever and also herd something in the carp... then bike started just fine and i got home and started if over and over.. this isent the first time it happen it happend this weekend to.. i just got the upgrades friday ... what could this be... i dont even remember going past mid throtal cumming from my friends house.. any suggestions would help thanks

 

Sounds like an electrical problem......is there a circuit breaker on the yfz?? Sounds like that is being thrown.......my guess is from your new cdi.......

 

i didnt change the cdi.. its still the stock one.. its kinda like the throtal gets stuck... but it dont becaust the plate still moves.. while is boging or missfireing i can give it alital throtal and it will go but when i relase to ide is when it happnes then i can file the click almost at wot when the bike turnes off...

 

Maybe your sensor in the throttle is loose(that stops the throttle from sticking)......I dunno....sorry.

 

to day it was doing the same thing right after i started it ran for a few minets then died.. i was wonering if the yfz has a throtal stuck sensore.. could that be the proplem???

 

Yes the YFZ has a TORS system

1st off, I hope you have a 45 pilot and NOT a 145!!

2nd, sounds like something is messed up in the carb.
