Default I am desperate and need help with a Warrior problem!

Ok I leave for the dunes on friday. My bike is in the shop and has had the same problem for a couple of months. Here it is. It starts and idles like a champ. it is great up until half throtle, but anything over half throttle and it starts to act like it is bouncing off the rev limiter. It seems like it is missing and loses all its *****. If it is in neutral it starts to blow a lot of smoke over what it normally does.

So here is what the shop has done so far. We swapped the CDI, the stator, the ignition coil. We have blocked off the parking brake. The shop cleaned the carb, jetted up and down. He did a leak down test and everything was within spec. He is running out of ideas and so am I. So I hoping someone here has had the same or similar problem and I know it probably some dumb chit thing like a wire that has come loose but man are we running out of time and ideas. So if youve got them try throwing them out at me.

Thanks I will do that tonight. I was going to clean all of my ground wires tonight and see if that helps me out at all.

Check and maybe put your parking brake back on...I had the same problem on mine, what happened is if the parking brake is on, it turns on a rev limiter. So check that out because theres a switch somewhere on the parking brake line. Hope this helps... I went about 2 and a half weeks before i figured it out...frustrating!!

I agree with a possible cam problem. You might want to start by checking the valve adjustment.

it wouldnt be the parking brake cause i took mine off thinking i wouldnt need it and took it to a friend and said it need the parking brake. the only reason i know its not the parking brake is because it should idle but if u give it gas it will spit and sputter or it will only idle and nothign after that as soon as u touch the gas- hope this helps
