I was not defending the Sparks pipe, Sparks had an intake kit available at the time of the shootout....thats why I used Saprks as my example. Mainly, your buddy could not take the blinders off, so thats why this discussion has been dragged through the mud. Look at the graphs with the lids on from the old shootout...the E-series holds it's own. It uses the same principles of flow as YOUR CT pipe as well. Your CT exhaust is the bomb and my E-series set-up is horrible huh? Show me proof that the CT exhaust is superior on a built engine as well while you are at it....OK? The quad patrol is here to keep the sheep herding in the right direction ....so watch that language .

I get your point on the turbo.OK. I will give this one to you. CT could have left the lid on and rejetted and it would have been more fair. Fine, are you happy now Mr. C?
Yes sir!

Who cares...I am not in this thread to promote any product or organization. Masterraptor asked me what I ran and I told him. I only pointed out the dyno graph after being told the E-series is junk....the rest of the "lids on" dyno runs seem legit. I am not bitter in any way...the only thing I posted that may have been a little out of line is that the CT exhaust is butt ugly. Well it is! I am glad you like the performance of your pipe .

I had to short shift when I had the E-series. It made no top end power. It got old and boring real fast.

The E-series was made for the 400 EX (a chick bike...my wife drives one) The silencer was simply adapted to fit on a Raptor. They bolted it on and what ever result was how it was.

At least my big gun gave a nice long power band. It was just anti-climatic and tuff to tune.

But the CT....Whoaa baby!! It was like adding a nitrous system. Holy ****! Hang on Mo Fo! Did I mention that my rod let go the first time out with the CT? Look at my page. Now that's power, dude.

CT is a no brainer.

Power pros is a company that makes exhausts for many large companies...LRD, CT, and they used to make them for trinity (trinity chose to have them made cheaper over seas somewhere not too long ago). I know there are others they make exhausts for but cant think of them right now.

The people at power pros are very knowledgable. When I went down there I asked for the pipe that they make that by far gave the most power with no lid and a pro design filter kit. They handed me the CT without even thinking about it. Very nice guys over there and they have been in the motorcycle/atv exhaust fab business for many years...

Another cool thing about them is they do custom jobs also...Im thinking about getting them to make me some duals.
Do these power pros do retail sales? Do you have any contact info? I'd like to get the CT pipe for my 700R

I think the CT is a damn fine looking pipe. Seen one on a super nice Raptor with an awsome custom paint job when I was at florence in Oct. Nothing butt ugly on that bike, only the best that can be bought

How can you give an accurate comparism useing a muffler for a 400cc engine being jacked up and installed on a Raptor? LOL! In stock form the E-series is not a huge revver though...I give you that. I was held to 170-something mains with the end cap and block off plate in place. I took the block off plate out and put the end cap back on. I currently run 190+ mains with smaller dyno-jet needles.....so that E-series is moving some air.

Wow. I never thought you could pull a 190 with an E-series. Thats what I am running. Did you have to lean your needles way out or what. You must be bored to like 108mm and ported?

I was over 190's with a stock bore 10.75/1 JE and a stage 1 Hotcam. With the 686, at 10.75/1 JE and stage 2 Hotcam jetting requirements stayed the same...so go figure. Many guys get away from the Dyno Jet needles on a mild build because they don't know what they are doing. Once tuned correct, the Dyno Jet needles work great.
