Default Timberwolf questions..

I have a 1996 yamaha timberwolf, and i want to make some improvements to it before spring. New clutch, exhaust etc...does anyone have any suggestions on things i should buy for the machine for performance? what are good pipes, reeds, and clutch kit for it? and also, does anyone know a good place that rebuilds and bores engines out in the western ny area? (buffalo ny area)

You'll have to settle for whatever you can find. There's not much aftermarket support for the timberwolf, so your only exhaust choices are dg and cobra. Go to a atv/motorcycle repair shop and see what they can order for clutches and exhaust for it. And reeds? Uhh, it's a two stroke thing. Your most worthwhile improvement on will probably be just a good set of tires.

Cobra and dg exhausts aren't really going to give you any power gains, or not enough for you to notice them, so unless your main goal is to make lots of noise, then i'd just stick with the stock exhuast.
