hey do you know anything about clutch kits?
im looking at a tusk heavy duty clutch from rocky mountain atv

There's mixed reviews about tusk clutch kits. A lot of people have had them start slipping after about 10-20 hours. EBC isn't much more expensive, and people seem to have better luck with them. That's what I have.

$35 for tusk kit w/springs
$69 for ebc kit w/springs
neither include shippings
these prices are from rocky mountain atv catalog
guess i could wait awhile and save for the ebc clutch

when you put a wiseco piston in yours did you keep it at standard bore or how much did you bore it ?

If you don't ride real hard I guess you could try your luck with the tusk clutch... but tell me - do you feel lucky?

I got the .50 over wiseco for mine. It might have been ok at the standard bore, but there were a few small scars in the walls and it's only another 50 bucks to get it bored and honed. I could have taken a chance and possibly saved 50 bucks and some time, but I wanted to make sure it was done right.
