Default Warrior Jetting Problem

I have a 2001 warrior, i just got a hmf slip on, air box lib removed. My problem is that im currently running a 145 main jet, and with choke on i pop and sputter, tryed smaller jets and bigger jets, im thinking its from the air screw, the parking brake it not on, and i am getting good fuel from everywhere, any suggestions????

Well, i'd expect it to run $hitty with the choke on. You should only need to use the choke for 10 seconds or less when the jetting is right.

If you didn't go up a size on the pilot jet try that. The stock jet is a 142.5, try a 145, that's what most will use. Start with the fuel screw 2 turns out from fully in.

With Full Choke it runs good, with excellent throttle response

he should need a 45 pilot and a 147.5 main with his setup.. it's the same thing i am going to run.

Oh $hit I meant to say go up from a 42.5 pilot to a 45 pilot!

I'm still don't completely understand what the problem is though. When does it pop? Idle, half throttle, full throttle? And he says with the choke on. What does it do when the choke is off?

if he is running it with the choke on it is gonna be bad for the quad... also.. when you remove the lid you have to go up 2 jet sizes on the main... if you run filter only and a slipon you need a 150
