Who's to say what you can do on your own property. But the main point here is riding on public land. Don't overlook that.
LMAO.. you know better than that freebird. We live in america where the government owns everything. They can legistlate whatever they want you to do on your own land and if you dont comply they just take it fromyou. the you make payments every year to the government so you can call that chunk of ground your own. But how about you try cuttin the payments to the government.. since you own it and all. and see how long before they take it away?

and on your own land you have neighbors and if you neighbors dont like it guess what you gonna be in trouble. climb outta of your lil box your hiding in and realize there are other people out there that you need to get along with. the fock them i do what i want attitude is not gonna accomplish anything.
Your right, =[ 25 years ago I thought it was cool to have a couple beaver move into a lower 15 acre plot. So I didn't shoot them and wouldn't let anyone trap them. Next thing you know that part of my land was deemed wetlands and taken by the state of NY, they said I still owned it and could pay a reduced land tax. I JUST COULDN'T DO ANYTHING WITH IT. PERIOD. Ummmm how focked up was that. =[ Another friggin reason I left that state.

Ok....There is a BIG difference in living in NEWYORK and living in OKLAHOMA.....

Im Sure we have alot more place to ride in oklahoma than yall do in newyork....There is Alot more people in newyork than there is in oklahoma......so i can see were your prob is coming from....
Besides the public places we ride all the time....I Own 160 acres wife owns 190 acres Austin owns over 2000 acres so i really dont think i will run out of places to ride....
Just for the sake of getting the facts straight, 2/3rds of NY's population lives in NYC, The most of the rest of the state is wide open farm land. Just to let you know, thats all.
Just for the sake of getting the facts straight, there are over 18 million people in NY. In NYC there are 8 million. I live in Rochester, 70 miles east of Buffalo. There are over 250k people in Rochester. The balance of NY, outside of NYC, does not solely consist of wide open farm land. For the sake of this discussion, let's say it did. That does not change the fact that there are no places for me to legally ride on public land within 1.5 hours of my house. It also does not change the fact that the better places to ride are in the souther portions of NY. I wish anything north of the city was wide open farmland.

Friend of mine had a nice blueberry farm that he had dug ditchs and used flood irrigation. well the county came thru and deemed his property salmon habitat and pulled eminant domain and turned his farm into a park. well he had been payin taxs for 4 million dollar assesed value and you know what they gave him as "fair compensation" 250k... and he was current on all taxs and everytin. It dont matter in this country. if they want they take. our government is the most corrupt bushell of "rooster" sucking bastages you can find. they wanna rape the people and take their money too.

I will agree that our gov't does some shady ****. I cannot agree that "our government is the most corrupt bushell of ..." Even with the improprieties that go on with both parties, we still have absolutely the best form of gov't on the face of this earth. If you don't agree, that is fine. Just remember that in a country run by a dictator or socialists, speaking out against the gov't could mean your execution.

Ok I may have had my ppl total messed up, but I don't think your counting 50 miles around NYC. But head upstate, I grew up just outside of the adirondacks ( The United States largest state owned park it's even bigger than yellow stone, thats why mario wanted to make it a federal park.). Have you ever been from say the thruway to canada, If not you should travel that way your missing more open area than you know exsists. Drive alond the St lawrence on 37 from 81 to messena and tell me how open it is then. I grew up in Newport 20 miles north of Utica and know the state very well maybe you need to take a road trip and discover the state you live in. Dang last time I try to stick up for anyone, wait let me bend over and grab my ankles.

Ridin on a trail or drag racin while wear in a neon pink TuTu is a sure fire way to get noticed. Though you may get some unwanted attention that you don't desire.

All i have seen in my lifetime is the government get bigger and bigger and want more and more and tell people they cant do this and cant do that. were supposed to be free. and more and more we are not.

Im lobbying for homeless work camps. i gotta get some support goin for them. Start rounding up all these people in tent city and what not that are physically capable and putting them to work cleaning the cities and roads. and if they dont like working for what they get in return and dont like the conditions they can get a free job and be productive. but im sick of this homless and welfare crap. they all go in the camps if they cant make it on their own. section 8 housing is out the door. If im payin taxs for these bums these bums are gonna work for me.
