I just got some new boots and they dont fit good. I was wondering how to adjust the shift lever on my yfz 450?

 

It's a direct link shifter, right? Just loosen the bolt where the shifter attaches to the shaft, pull the shifter out and off the splines, adjust the angle to how you like it, and then slide it back onto the splines and tighten the bolt.

 

Thanx that really helps a lot. Now when I race I wont have any problems shifting.
