Are DG type II silencers too loud for off road use? not at a sierra club meeting but a place where i don't want to bother the farmers. thanks.

Haha 300exPaul, your like don't buy D.G, its junk mean while u got dg nerf bars . I know u meant their exhaust but i jus thought that was funny the way it looked.

 

Well guys, my stocker is gone and I need a new one that isn't too loud,any suggestions.(for the Z)

I had the DG on my old Blaster. Yes the Type 2 is very loud. I rode with my friend who had FMF pipes and you couldn't even hear his quad. All you could hear was the DG. I thought it had a sweet sound to it, but my friends didn't. Made it high-pitched. If you are in a rush for a pipe, you can get DG for cheap. But, if you want something of high quality, try FMF, LRD, and any other well known manufacturer.

 

I'm not looking for a pipe, i need a silencer(muffler) and I need one that isn't real loud for an 85 TRI-Z, any help from personal expierience with the different silencers would help alot. So the DG is real loud? thanks.

 

If fmf makes one get it. if not i guess DG will have to work, it wont be as loud with your stock pipe.
