my friends got a camed 450r and trail rides with that. that thing is a beats and a half.... he races gncc with it to. id say it makes for a really good trail bike as long as u can ride it

Did you buy the YFZ? It sounds like an awesome bike! IMO, I would still prefer the Raptor, but since we have one (an older one), I am prejudiced. The 06 Raptor sounds awesome too. I know the 04 one is great on trails and rides like a cadillac and I have heard the Raptor is great in the sand too . . . just haven't had the chance to check that out yet. Good luck with your decision. Yamaha builds a great ATV--we have two of them and have not been disappointed.
