Default DMV Mistake….!@#$%^

Bought my banshee 2003 to my delight I received a green sticker, when I renewed the registration, again I received a green sticker. Just received a letter from DMV informing me that there was a mistake and I GOT A RED STICKER to replace the green one.

Should I go down to the DMV and raise holly hell?

You live in California. All 2 strokes in Cali recieve a red sticker right? Looks like you got some "extra" riding time with the green sticker you otherwise should have not recieved. If you want to ride year round in Cali don't buy bike / quad thats only legal to ride part of the year.

All of my 2 strokes have a green sticker. I thought 2001 was the cut off for 2 strokes to receive green stickers. Not to mention high performance thumpers.

You poor bastards in California sure do get the short end of the stick when it comes to environmental extremism.

PLEASE, the same State Officials that voted this into law most likely own extremely large homes (if not more than one) that cost a fortune to Heat/ Cool, cut the grass, ECT.

They likely are more prone to use a private jet over the average citizen.

But when it comes to the average Joe, it is either Red or Green to “ration” their pollution.
