Love my Raptor 350, it's extremely reliable, comfortable, and takes anything I throw at it, I'm pushing 220 and it still hauls my a$$ around no problem at all, even up the steepest of hills. I added on a filter, removed the air box lid, and jetted and I giad good power just off that. Good in the mud too. Mine gets mistaken for a 450 quite frequently.

Well the manufacturers would not try to one up each other if the consumers were not buying the newer and bigger quads. Obviously you are not in the market for anything like that. Everybody complains what the factories make just because they are not custom made for each individual. But is that not the idea of customizing it yourself? Tailoring it's engine, suspension, ergonomics, and look; to suit the individuals personality or riding style? I personally like making it my own, but i know that what suits me will drive someone else crazy. If you like small-bore quads that you customize that is fine. Maybe a few more years down the road you can start going vintage racing; if you don't like any of the new offerings.
