Default Fouling plugs

The blaster i might buy was running good but then we let it sit for a couple hours.. It started back up again and then didn't work.. it fouled the plug and wouldn't start back up.. does anyone know a simple fix on why it might be fouling plugs? a carb rebuild kit for it is 13 bucks so im gonna do that? think that will fix it

Is the blaster stock? or does it have any kind of performance mods, like exhaust? If it's not stock, chances are that the jetting wasn't done right, and is too rich. Or possibly if the oil pump has been bypassed, the premix could be too rich and fouling it up.

Was it running when the plug fouled, or did it just not start at all after it sat for a couple hours and you came back to it?

I'd have to agree with recon99 on the jetting.

Another thing to look at is the expansion chamber and also the silencer, if they are plugged up this also will effect the quad. It will produce a restriction causing a rich condition and foul plugs. I had a combination of both improper jetting and the exhaust system being plugged up. My son would foul a plug almost every ride. Sometimes he would start it, turn it off and foul a plug. Replaced the expansion chamber with a Pro Circuit Platinum Pipe and also replaced the silencer with a Pro Circuit 296 with Spark Arrestor. Now you do not need to buy a new exhaust system you can clean yours out. I had to replace my silencer because the mount broke off on a ride we did. With the new exhaust system replacement it did require new jetting, We have not fouled a plug yet.
