Tri-Z
#3
Driver here the deal; I am in the middle of a complete (and expensive) frame up rebuild on a 86' Tri-Z. I am sruggling with what to do about the carb. Motor third over to 68.75 L.A. sleeve did crank, Ricky stator did the stator, DG Extreme pipe and silencer and a UNI filter. Thats about it for the motor. Chasiss; Works suspension, powder coating/polishing etc. And a bunch of other odds and ends. Anyway, I would like to go with an aftermarket carb but do not know which set up to go with. I'll leave it there and see what you and your friend can come up with or know of. Adapters for the intake with an aftermarket carb? Stock airbox or a "pod" style filter? HELP!!! While were at it if you know of an axel hub set up thats been tried and true with the stock carrier let me know. So far I am going with a Durablue as Durables tech people have told me the Banshee is a direct bolt to the Tri's axel carrier.
Thanks,
Jon
