No, once you get used to it, it's actually easier because you can grip the bar without losing thumb control. Again this is my opinion because I mostly rode dirt bikes. Other quad riders hated the twist. The down fall with the twist throttle is never let any noobies use the quad. On my old Raptor 660 LE 2003, I had a friend roll over on an uphill twice. Almost smashed his head a few times, droped the clutch, the torque pulled him back causing more throttle to be grabbed and you can guess what happened.

yea actuly i let my friend use my quad he drove 3 feet turned it around gave it a little gas out it up into a wheely and crashed it into a jeep... no damage to the jeep but alot to my quad...saddly

i was actually thinkin about gettin one cause my thumb starts cramping up after about 3 hrs of riding...
i just don't want to kill myself, so i guess i could buy one...or start doing some thumb workouts [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
