Default wolverine starter relay

i checked old forums on this and checked to see what was up. my starter relay clicks when i go to start but there is a catch. to get it to do this it needs to be held up toward the seat before it will click. i took it apart and cleaned all the connections and when i hooked it up it is now totaly dead. i bipased the starter relay and the starter turns so it is ok on that end. i checked connections from the battery to the relay and i have power to the right nut on the relay but no power when the fuse goes. any suggestions would be nice. also is there a reason for two fuses. i see no connections for the second fuse on my relay again thanks *****

If you take a small jumper wire, jump from the nut on the starter relay WITH power to the small nut on the starter relay that comes from your starter button. The relay should click and the starter should be energized. Make sure the other small wire on the relay gets back to ground somehow. If all this happens and the relay wont pass power thru to the starter, you have a bad relay. These are common to go bad and are fairly cheap. Good luck!
