engine wise give me the run down on what you had. There was a guy on the b l u e t r a x x forum that he had a couple friends with a 400ex and 400z and rode with them all the time. He had the Alba kit and said they would beat him on the low-end... more cc's. But when they would get into the fast stuff he would get them. Not by much but, he said it had more pull with his warrior.

Wait so with your upgrades your about even with a kfx? that means i'm close. lol I'm to young to get a YFZ which is what i really want. Same for a trx or ltr450. I just dont like the ride of the ltz's, and i'd do all of the same upgrades that i have now except for what i am ordering. Blaster is out, i've blown up too many of those. Banshee, I'm not really sure about,it's a 2-stroke. and is your raptor on ebay right now? if it is we live in the same town.

YES!!!!!!!!! i dont have to get it ported. SWEET!!!!!!!! one more question then I'll stop bugging you. for awhile. You said high tension valve springs. I plan on getting new springs but will the perfomance ones cut it or will i have 2 get the race ones? The race ones i'll probably have 2 keep replacing and i dont feel like or have the cash flow for that.

The difference is in the tops (retainers) which hold the valve spring. What metal they use, the racing uses a lighter top so you have less rotating mass. Either one will work great for your application.
Since this is a racing cam you want to get a good high compression piston to. You should do both at the same time.
Please get the cylinder honed and bored at least one over and do it right. Don't forget gaskets.

And just to clear up the retainers will last the same which ever kit you go with. I don't mind anwesering your questions just try and keep an open mind. I just want to give you the best options.

.430 web cam,perfomance springs, JE 10.5 piston,renthal 14T. sprocket,outerwear, thats what I'm gonna order 2morrow. I still dont want to get a bigger bore or anything like that because they are very unreliable. maybe when I blow it up then I'll rebuild it right. Thank you for all of your help.

Explain to me why it's unreliable?
I suppose you can just hone it out so the rings seat hopefully it's not out of round.

I mean for a big bore kit. Way higher compression,bigger cylnder,i cant ride the way i do anymore,as far as revving it and durability. And there expensive too.All the stuff ive done has been over a period of time, not a big sum all at once. I'm probably going to start a war here but whatever. I'll look into it more later

Increases exhaust gas velocity at lower RPM's, giving you more low end power "torque" but creating more restriction or backpressure at higher rpm's, taking away HP on the top end. It's pretty much going to work against your cam.

This goes in your headpipe, in between the head and pipe.
