cool thanks for the help with the tors i will deffently look into that i can care less about the idle for now the knock is my big problem i just brought up the idle because i thought it had something to do wth the knocking but thanks for the info will deffently think about that

well today i change the plug and tranny oil quad is still koncking to doesnt sound bad when u first start it butt as soon as u take it down the block and it warms all the way it gets loud i still have the oil injection on it would that screw it up if i changed the main jet i went from a 290 to 310 could it be i throw the mixture off thanks

Dump that oil injector! that think is a waist of time and can potentially cause alott of trouble.. what kind of oil are u running?? dont use the cheep stuff it just robbs your bike of power and everything else! I run Maxxis race oil.. in all of my 2 strokes.... its like 8 or 10 bucks.. works great... but that oil injector sucks bad.. dump it

yeah i am dumping the oil injection just drop the quad off at a shop they said sounds like piston slap is my noise but they are going to tear it down to deffntly make sure how does a piston slap i thought it would just stop running if that was happening or blow up can someone explaine thanks for all the help

Piston slap happens when the piston is loose in the cylinder. usually its caused by worn rings or piston or the cylinder or a combo of all of them but u usually feel a power loss! and it "the noise"sounds like its coming from the top end at least from my experience i could be wrong?
becareful where u take ur bike to be fixed if u dont know whats going on they might try to bend u over! always ask for the old parts they replaced.
