warrior wont move
#1
i was out riding yesterday (in the snow). I was at about half throttle in 6 gear when suddenly it pops out of gear. I pulled in the clutch and stopped. I put it back into first gear and it wouldn't move. I tryed all my gears and I was stuck. The engine would run fine but it would move. It wouldn't even make a sound when I put it into gear. It was like I was in neutral the whole time. I'm just wondering what this problem might be.
Thanks in advance for the replys

Sounds like the shifter detent fell off or is worn out. This is a little wheel that is attached to an arm that is spring loaded and holds the shift drum from moving out of gear. Or the shifter internal arm either fell off or broke. Take it appart and check it out, hope this helps.

yeah... i fixed it, all it that was wrong is that the reverse lever poped out of place (i broke it off hill climbing a few years back when i hit a bump (my knee hit it)).
thx to speedy2222 my quad works again

try the reverse lever because if its stuck in between foward and reverse it will be in like a neutral postion. also check your motor mounts. i broke my upper motor mounts twice and one time they broke and the others came loose. this caused the motor to move so much that it caused the motor to pull on the shifter and it was shifting wierd or it wouldnt shift at all. try these and if you are lucky they will work if not its probaly a trany problem which would suck for you.
