carb problems caused by ethanol in gas
I have been having issues with my carb in a 2001 warrior, the gas is just flowing through and dumping out the overflow tube. I changed the floatvalve and the problem went away but now it is back. I called the dealer and he seems to think it has to do with the amount of ethanol found in the gas, he also said he is seeing this problem 5 x more than he did last year. He is looking into an additive to help solve the issues with the gas. Is anybody else seeing this problem?

There must be something weird in the gas this year. I never had this happen to me before, and now while my float valve sticks on the edelbrock from time to time, even though all the moving parts are like new and have been cleaned twice. One other thing i was considering is the cold temperatures are screwing with things just the slightest bit, possibly something to do with metals expanding and contracting because of temperature changes.

If the float is working properly there is no way for the gas to come out the overflow tube. Some people have been having problems with there crankcase breather hoses with pressure building up. Do a seearch for that and maybe install one on your fue overflow.
