I have a brand new 2007 350 Grizzly 4x4 Hunter model and I love it, its a great machine except its too loud. The motor is very noisy and the muffler is too loud. First day out it gave me a headache, I hope it mellows out as it breaks in.

the motor seems to be noisy, because the yamaha motor always seems to have a tick, if it is excessive, take it in and complain about it, have it noted so that if there is an issue that you have it documented, the valves might need to be adjusted so hopefully they will do it for free. As far as the muffler, you would probably have to replace it with a quiter one, but I dont really know who makes one for sure.

there is a camo wrap you can use, I think it is made by realtree. I heard it is pretty expensive, so I would check the price of doing that way and the price of the camo bodywork, because it might be cheaper to just replace the plastics, and then either sell your red body or save it if you ever have an accident or if you decide to sell the quad you can make it look new again.

i do have a very slight tick but i am not worried about it.

Check out ITPtires.com and get yourself a rude set of diggers for that bad boy. I have the camo edition and the muddier it gets the better it looks. Your friendly Yamaha store should have a large aray of bolt on accesories and should be more than happy to help you spend your cash eh?!
