Just bought my 08 Griz. I want to replace the stock tires. From reading different tire reviews I am leaning towards the ITP Mudlite XTR's. Anyone have any experience with these? Or any other recommendations. Riding will consist of about 75% hardpack 25% mud.

They are excellent tires. We have 27" XTRs on one Grizzly 700, 25" Teracross tires on another Grizzly 700, and 25" Bighorns on a Rhino 660. If I were buying a new set of tires for a Grizzly 700 right now I would get 26" XTRs.

If you go with the New Outlaw Tires You can actually float your 700.

My 2 cents I have been riding my Grizzly in the mountains of WVA all summer on stock tires, good traction and no power loss due the addded weight, and no flats!

I have 26" Dirt Devils and I am very happy with them. If you take them on pavement, the ride might get a little bumpy, but not bad. I mainly ride on hard pack with some mud and snow in the winter. They grip very well and I haven't had any traction problems yet on rocks, in water, on side hills, etc.

I can recommend the Pirelli MudWiser's. I have 26x10-12 fronts and 26x12-12 rears mounted on stock rims...they are huge tires and perform awesome.

The XTRs are awesome tires. They are my current favorites. They perform great and wear well. The hardpack ride is very good for a tire that handles mud so well.
Also consider:
Maxis MudbugR
Mudsharks
ITP Terracross

26" ITP Terra Cross On ITP wheels are on our 700 Grizz. Great all around tire. I think the closer tread pattern on the Terra Cross serves a little better on the hard pack, however the XTR's will handle the Mud better.

you can't go wrong with any of the tires listed.

Dude... I have the XTR's on my mean machine... they are by far the best tire I've ever had!!! I've put over 1500 Kms on them so far and they still look like they just came off the shelf. I ride a lot of hard pack, even asphalt, then when Iget into the muck there is no stoppin' me. In my opinion they are well worth the price... double than a regular Mud Lite if I'm not misteakin'. I've had Mud Lites and I thought the middle tread of the rear tires suffered from premature wear. The only other tires I've experienced were Kenda Bear Claws. They rated about a 8 out of 10 for me. XTR... 10 or 11 out of 10. WoW Eh?! By the way... I love my Kodiak camo. Good game!!!
