Or any local hardware store for bolts, also. They tend to be more helpful than big box stores.

Also, I never did mention what my jetting ended up at, and I found that I had a tear in the boot to my carb, which was only sucking air some of the time, making jetting it a royal PITA. Replaced that and ended up with a 150 and moved the clip up one on the needle, but I need to lean that back out because with it warming up I am not running so hot again.

I was in a pinch once for a spark plug and a D7EA was all I could get at the time, and I had no problems with it. Now as far as improving performance or changing temp. I didn't see any change. it's your call but I would stick with what works for the fact that if you have any sort of spark or elecrtical problems you can automatically rule that out as a problem!

Raptor450, you are going to be proud. After some serious thinking, I have elected to go ahead and sell the Warrior and delve into the 660R market, maybe even a 700 with the EFI. I listed it for $2500 and am having some bites, thankfully.

After looking into the Raptor market I should be able to pick up a 660 for around $3000, and most of those are already piped at least. So I'll get me one of those and build the hell out of it instead the Warrior. I'll just have to get used to the different feel, as I blow everyone away...

I am proud. I think you are making a wise decision. I sold my Warrior last night for $2,000. I almost shed a tear after I put my heart and soul into that and then basically gave it away.

I wouldn't get too cocky with "blowing everyone away". I thought the same thing and I got blown away last Sunday by one of them damn Honda 450's. My Warrior ran with him better than my 660 does. But he has the whole HRC kit and I only have a pipe, so with some gearing changes and a cam I think I can take him.

I've seen nice Raptor 700's listed for $4500 on craiglist.com, so the price of them is coming on down, too. So if you can sqeeze a few more dollars out of your butt the 700 would be better than a 660.

Oh, I know I won't be blowing everyone away, don't worry. I intend on eventually putting the work into the Raptor that I had done and planned for the Warrior, just not right now. As much as I would LOVE to squeeze out the cash for the 700, I just don't think I can do it. Uncle Sam was not as kind as I had anticipated he would be to me this year, to say the least. What I do of course depends on what state the quad I buy is in, but I imagine I will run the basics first; cam, pipe, K&N, etc; and go from there... I think I can justify putting a big bore kit in a Raptor more than I could've in the Warrior

Yeah the stock 660 has plenty of power for just trail riding. I really don't want to do anything else to my engine to keep it reliable. It's already hard enough to keep the front end down in 2nd gear. But I'm going to have a hard time leaving it like it is cause that punk with the Honda 450 is going around to everybody blabbin about how he beat me. Now we just can't be havin' that can we? Hmmmmm.......maybe just a 686 kit with a cam would shut him up for a little while...................

Don't go with the raptor,, spend the money and get the yfz 450, you'll be happy in the long run, but your digging into a whole diffrent ball game
