Does any body has any information on the new KTM quads, are the realy what they say they are, or they are a bust.

almost bought one the other day. But I couldn't find any dealers in my area that had the 525 in stock, and all wanted a deopsit before i could see it. so i got a yfz instead

Yes. At my local shop they had the 525xc & the thing is very sweet. Has lots of goodies right out the box. It's probably the fastest in the big-bore class. Raptor 700 Kaw. 700 etc. KTM is for real......

o i'm so pissed, i wish i freaking had reverse on my yfz450 and now they have it on those....damm!!!!

 

I got a chance to ride one at a KTM Demo Ride last month.

I spent about 30 minutes on the quad and didn't want to get off...

It has awesome power, the Ohlins were set just right to my weight, and just a small twist of the throttle got the front end up to go through whoops with ease.

The front end is very light.

The only downside is that the steering is extremely loose from the power/weight ratio, but the quad already has a mount set up for an easy install of a stabilizer...

I told the guys putting on the demo that I had to bring it back or else I would've slapped numbers on it and raced it the next day....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Very well thought out machine.....purchase is very eminent...
