well. now i am pissed with the dealers service. they had said it might be ready today, so i called, and it was ready, he said the bill was 480 dollars. i was like what?!?!? and apparently they ordered a part and didnt tell us, we thought they were just fixing what was faulty and they did, and yamaha covered all that, which was very nice. but then to order a 450 part and not ask for permision to buy it and put it in? what kind of service is that. so we called yamaha back. and they arnt doing much except taking 10 percent off. that dealer will get no recomendations from me. as for yamaha, the machine will have to really appeal to me for me to buy it.

 

What did they install?

 

a differential lock motor thing. it cost over 300 hundred for the part....money i dont have

 

yeah, sounds like the dealer screwed you there. I'd tell them to take it out since you didn't ask for it and didn't know they were putting it in. See what they say. Did you ever say "do what ever it takes to get it up and running?"

Also look up magnuson moss act might have more teeth. This is a federal law where the lemon law is state, I believe..

Its always best to try and solve your problems with the people you have issues with, law involvement should always be your last resort after you have exhausted all other avenues.

 

well, the dealer hasnt even apologized. and im getting tired and annoyed. i think i might just go and charge the 430 so i can have my quad back
