WITCHEVER BRAND YOU BUY YOU WANT A WINCH THAT IS CAPABLE OF 2500-3000 LBS. I HAVE A WARN 2.5 ON MY POPO 600 AND ITS WORKED GREAT I USE IT FOR PLOWING EVERY YEAR SINCE 2004 AND NO ISSUES WITH IT!

depends on how much you want to spend. warn has a new 4500 series that would be kick ***, but it is like almost $500.

IF YOU ASK ME THE 4500 IS A LITTLE OVERKILL IT WAS DESIGNED FOR SIDE BY SIDE'S.

I agree, but would be nice to be able to pull a truck out(toyota, nissian, something small) if need be with the grizzly

I wouldn't get anything under a 3000 pound winch. The smaller ones are cheaper but the smaller ones don't do the job if you are really stuck. It took my 700 king quad and my friends 400 artic cat to pull out my other friends 650 artic cat last week when he got stuck and his 2500lb winch smoked along with his cvt belt

so maybe he 4500 wouldn't be tooooo overkill. but you can prevent the winch from burning up if you just watch it when your puling ur bike or anothers out, and don't drag bikes around with the winch cable just a dumb idea asking for problems(nobody asked just thought id mention)

I have a Warn 2.5 and I have tied the a$$ end to a tree and pulled a jeep out of a pretty good size hole. I did not really want to but when you are in the middle of no where, no choice. But the winch worked great then and works great with my plow. I will try to download the video that someone took of me pulling the jeep out.

I don't doubt you i have a lil 1500 on my 99 big bear and it will pull the fourwheeler striaght up off the ground, but not very far. had to try it just for fun.
